This role requires someone with a great technical knowledge of real estate development and strong hands-on asset management experience within real estate. Ideal candidates will have trained as engineers but matured into an AM or PM function. This position is to be taken with fully autonomy and therefore requires a confident and competent personality that can, whilst having a reporting line, work independently.

Job Purpose Summary:
Responsible for assisting the management of the banks real estate portfolio in both a short-term and long-term capacity. The Bank have over 1m sq. ft. to develop on for 2018 in Paris.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing regular reports on the status of the Portfolio.
  • Assist in producing due diligence information relating to the disposal of a Portfolio Property, seek purchasers and develop exit opportunities.
  • Posting of daily transactions.
  • Accurately processing and recording of all invoices.
  • Executing transaction settlements.
  • Assist in managing the portfolio.
  • Assist in overseeing the letting, maintenance and administration agents to ensure that Properties are kept in a good and tenantable state of repair.
  • Projecting a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Performing general administrative duties.
  • Assist in ensuring that Properties comply with all legal requirements in their host country and maintain adequate insurance coverage at all times.
  • Managing records.
  • Ensures high standards of confidentiality and ethics to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
  • Act within delegated responsibilities.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors or higher degree, preferably in a relevant discipline (Engineering desirable)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Real Estate function
  • Must have experience in a hands on Real Estate Asset Manager Position, managing Real Estate property portfolios (Retail, Logistics, Commercial, etc.)
  • Ideally a background in Engineering
  • Strong commercial negotiation and all round management of delivering development projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English and French
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Good planning, organizational, administration and management skills
  • Experience in working with complex spreadsheets, cash flow models and MS Excel
