My Money Bank, France’s 1st Private Equity (Cerberus Capital Management) owned bank is an independent French bank, focused on retail banking and consumer finance including credit consolidation, auto finance, consumer credit, and deposits. The bank is focused on providing its clients superior customer service and financial solutions. My Money Bank currently operates across France and in the French Overseas Territories with facilities including a head office in Paris, an operational center of excellence in Nantes, seven sales offices in Metropolitan France and a presence through its subsidiaries in Guyana, Martinique, Guadeloupe (Somafi-Soguafi), the Reunion Islands (Sorefi) and New Caledonia (Socalfi).

You will join the newly created « Corporate Development » team at My Money Bank. The team is looking to recruit an intern to support the external growth of the Business. You will participate on transactions across the entire spectrum of the financial services sector in France and neighboring countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic and financial analysis on sectors or companies
  • Research and analysis for potential transaction opportunities
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations (i.e.  pitches, investment committee and other materials related to the transaction) and other ad-hoc internal or external presentations.
  • Assist in financial analysis and valuation models (comparable trading and transaction multiples, DCF)
  • Conduct due diligence on targeted acquisitions

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-graduate program at a University with excellent academic credentials
  • Experience from previous internships, ideally in Investment Banking / Corporate Finance / Private Equity or Transaction Services at a big 4
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Very good written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in French and English is required (both written and orally)
  • Previous experience in FIG will be a plus
