General Information

Company Overview: Our client is a new Business Ventures dedicated to pension launched in 2018 and incubated in a leading global Insurance company. Its aim is to build and deliver both global pension solutions and local schemes in different countries, providing a full scope of services for both plan sponsors and employees. We are active in different European countries and in the Gulf area.
Joining this company is joining an entrepreneurial venture, an international and very energetic team.


Reason of recruitment (Creation/Replacement) – Context:

Our client is currently a start-up with a team of 10 persons with important growth ambitions.

In their growth and acceleration context, top management would like to hire a business development support person to support daily business and accelerate strategy execution.


Level of experience: 2-3 years’ experience in a corporate role.


Main daily duties, tasks and responsibilities of the position:

Beyond the usual tasks of a Business Development Support, the focus will be on:

  • Work on all supports used/produced by management and underline the main challenges and issues. Prepare memorandum if necessary.
  • Gather information, wrap up and create presentations and documents for the top management
  • Be aware of teams’ deadlines and actively manage milestones.
  • Coordinate internal teams to share information, get information and match the deadline.
  • Assist the top management in developing proposals and in reviewing, negotiating and finalizing contracts
  • Conduct research on items/companies/competitors/etc as requested by the top management.


Required expertise & skills

Technical skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (other language skills are a benefit);
  • Excellent word processing and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Management skills:

Ability to effectively support and depending on the subject lead (PMO role) the projects.

Communication / soft skills:

  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment (“start-up” mode), 
  • Autonomy,
  • Source of proposals,
  • Courageous,
  • Ongoing determination to support major projects,
  • Ability to handle very different tasks,
  • Good communication, negotiation and presentations skills with the ability to manage difficult conversations.

Education level:

 “Grande Ecole de Commerce”  or international equivalent– However, a relevant and interesting professional experience could compensate.
