Capital Four is a leading specialty asset management firm. We manage more than EUR 10 billion in sub-investment grade credit funds and managed accounts (mostly in High Yield Bonds, Leveraged Loans, Bank Capital and Direct Lending Assets). We are 47 professionals located in Copenhagen with a global institutional client base.

The investment team currently consists of 25 investment professionals. We are looking to add an Investment Analyst focused on distressed debt and special situations to our Credit Opportunities fund.


Job description:

  • Work with Portfolio Managers to derive credit views and present recommendations to the investment committee
  • Identify and analyze new investment opportunities in the distressed and special situations space, including:
    • Fundamental credit analysis, with understanding of legal documents and bankruptcy process
    • Assessment (or structuring) of appropriate terms and conditions and creditor protections
  • Identify and analyze potential short opportunities



  • Candidates need to have 3-7 years full time work experience with a background in either;
    • distressed debt or High Yield analyst from sell or buy side firms, or
    • investment banker familiar with leveraged finance and credit, or
    • chartered accountants with a background in restructuring, workouts, turnaround
  • Outstanding academics and financial modelling skills as well as a track record of consistently delivering high quality results
