Versatile engineer needed to help build and support network security technologies as part of a new, purpose build infrastructure for a financial services organization. Working alongside the network security architect, this role will help to design and build a new network security stack to support multiple Morgan Stanley business units within Mainland China. Work will cover a broad network security scope and this position will give an opportunity to get hands on with multiple platforms. Ideal candidate will have varied network security experience across firewalls and/or proxy servers and be able to learn new technologies quickly. We will also consider candidates with a strong network background wanting to switch to security.
We expect this new infrastructure to be supported using DevOps methodologies with a small but highly capable team. A portion of this job will be to assist with support once we are close to production, and scripting and automation experience will be desirable to help make operational processes as efficient as possible.
