Morgan Stanley intends to set up the Futures Brokerage business with location in Beijing. The entity will apply to trade in commodity and financial futures products as listed in the China exchanges. The entity will consist of an Operations team to deliver efficient operational process and technology-based solutions compliant with local regulations and in support of business as well as client needs.
As IT Director of the Futures Company, the role reports directly to the CEO of the Company, and should be responsible for the Company's technology management including IT strategy, IT structure, software management, hardware management and daily operation of the company;
Formulate and establish departmental policies, procedures and standards of IT governance such as information security, cyber security, system development; guide daily departmental operations; and manage regular management reporting to the CEO of the Company;
Develop and implement the Company's IT strategy to ensure the robustness of IT capabilities to support the Company's daily operations and consistency with the Company's business strategy;
Set annual departmental target, formulate annual IT budget plan and closely monitor the implantation status of the IT budget plan on ongoing basis;
Insure sufficient measure taken with regard to information, data and cyber security according to relevant regulatory requirements, and responsible for mitigating the potential breaches and violations;
Build and maintain the close relationship with relevant stakeholders including business departments, the Company's external counterparties and IT vendors;
Abide to relevant laws, regulations, provisions from CSRC, the AOA of the company and related policies. Keep the integrity to the job and the role's responsibility;
The role, prior to the Company establishment, is responsible for supporting the working group on project related matters for the Company setup.
