We Offer
The role would be for a business engineer, based out of Shanghai, to lead in the requirement's gathering, analysis and solutioning of the platform for China Onshore Private Banking. You will work closely with business users, locally and from other regions, and with the main delivery team that is based in Singapore to provide quality solutions to help our business achieve their strategic goals. Strong influencing skills and a strong proficiency of the local products and operations is required.

  • Coordinate with the business and IT partners to contribute sound analysis and solutions; Author requirements, epics, user stories and tasks aligned with user/customer/market/developer needs
  • Seek to ensure end-to-end requirements are clear and target business processes are well-defined and ensure all solutions are in compliance with Credit Suisse risk and governance guidelines, and local regulatory requirements
  • Become a strategic part of the Credit Suisse business by building positive relationships with all business partners, understanding the challenges they face and using your expertise to deliver the systems that suits the business partner's needs
  • Coordinate with Product Owners to deliver solutions and user-centric banking applications for use by Clients / Relationship Managers / Support functions
  • Proficient in different technology domains within the Bank and how different functions operate across domains; Willing and able to adapt to changes in priorities and requirements
  • Proactive risk management - building a sustainable control environment by reducing operational risks, eliminating manual steps and sub-optimal practices; Remain open and alert to new technology opportunities

The APAC Technology and Change organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions, implementation of change programs, and the associated change, design and data governance for the APAC Division. The organization includes APAC WM Core Technology, APAC WM Client Technology, APAC Products IT, APAC Markets IT and APAC Global Markets IT.

You Offer

We expect the candidate to possess the below skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis/engineering in the Private Banking or Wealth Management industry
  • Good understanding of China's local regulatory and reporting requirements for the banking industry
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills built on industry experience in private banking or technology development
  • Excellent presentation - problem structuring, logical thinking and story-lining essential
  • Outstanding influencing and interpersonal skills, can effectively with multi-functional/cross-regional teams and with senior management; Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • Proficient in business processes, products and core banking systems
  • Ability to work well in contributing to and delivering complex systems in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • A real passion and experience in Agile working practices like Scrum or Kanban, with an outstanding desire to deliver on time with high level of integrity, flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
