In Business Control Head

Scope of Role: * Take in charge of the BB related control & process, review compliance with both internal policies and external regulations and ensure all time audit readiness, manage high quality of control implementation and reinforcement, early issue detection and rectification


  • As interface for BB, work with CEPG, BORM and WM P&P to design, fine-tune and revise DOI and other control mechanism in accordance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Work with CEPG and Branch Operation on all CST and branch risk self assessment
  • Monitor and feedback control implementation in sales teams, conduct self assessment of policy & implementation risks and recommend enhancements to mitigate
  • Take lead of conduct advocacy in BB, coordinate with Conduct Team on education, surveillance & local disciplinary process and results on the ground
  • Joint work with CEPG and WM P&P on mystery program execution, covering all BB sales and branches.
  • Take lead on all audits countrywide within BB, early involvement with subject audited branches on audit progress, and raise early flag to BB Head and related department heads on any early potential high risk issues, conduct fact finding and coordinate acute and factual response to audit enquiries
  • To lead, enforce and keep track timely completion of all corrective actions as requested with regard to all examinations of branch control & conduct, stemmed from both IA and Regulators
  • To safeguard high compliance and control standards as required in the BB Ecosystem
  • To provide supports, advice and supports to first line managers in addressing compliance and control issues, in a bid to catalyze enhancement of compliance sense and judgment quality
Selection Criteria:

· University graduate with 8-10 years of solid experience in operation control, compliance, process management position of bank and/or other retailers in China

· Thorough understanding of retail bank businesses and branch operation model

· Strong organizational and administrative skills

· Strong ability to work under tight deadline and high pressure, particularly in terms of process reinforcement, issue rectification

· A caring people manager who can engage the team to also work under pressure and tight deadline

· Strong communications/presentation and stakeholders management skills to work with people from different functions, background and levels

· Self-starter with ability to multi-task and strong leadership skill in leading the direct reports as well as key stakeholders

· Excellent command of English & Mandarin
