Head, Performance Reward Benifit Advisory

The purpose of the role is to champion selected Group Policies and Processes in PRB in the Country, which are consistent with the business strategies. The incumbent should also provide a point of expertise, guidance, training and support for relevant HR business partners and business heads. The role will work closely with colleagues in Country HR and other specialists, and by leveraging resources in the HRSSC.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
Strategic and Advisory
  • Develop expertise in PRB issues and act as a trusted reward adviser to the business stakeholders, Country Head of HR, Country HRBP and Regional Head of PRB
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders to understand business specific product needs and to provide support to the business. Design PRB solutions for the business, consistent with Group policies, leveraging the expertise and tools from the PRB product Specialist teams and drawing on analytical support from the HRSSC
  • Participate and represent the country reward network in selected Group PRB project working committees. For new PRB initiatives, coordinate and champion activities within country
  • Establish and maintain key stakeholders' relationships in order to ensure their engagement and sponsorship of the PRB agenda. Lead dialogue internally (including within the business people forums and HR teams) to ensure associated plans become best in class. Manage, audit, evaluate and improve effectiveness of all specific PRB products, plans and processes in PRB in country
  • Provide counsel to Country HR, and business management team on compensation issues, including (but not limited to) structuring of complex hiring packages, changes to existing employees' contracts and share buy-outs
  • Champion the understanding, adoption, and management of "total reward" across the Country
  • Improve business and HR's understanding of PRB products and processes and how such programmes can be effectively and appropriately used to incentivize business performance and motivate employees.
  • Lead country reward harmonization/integration activities for new acquisitions, when appropriate, support due diligence and other integration related activities
  • Improve business and HR's understandings of reward and how reward programmes can be effectively and appropriately used to drive business performance and motivate employees

Global Processes

  • Manage the interim and final Performance Pay & Potential (P3) processes in country in line with Group guidelines and acting as a point of contact for their Country HR
  • Collaborate with Group PRB on market pricing to increase the level of consistency across markets, reduce vendor costs and generally ensure data is accurate and used by the business in an impactful manner

Local Process

  • Participate in compensation and benefit market surveys, analyze results and market appropriate recommendations to ensure market competitiveness
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of country reward policies, programmes and processes in achieving business needs

Team Management

  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of unit
  • Motivate and coach the team to drive performance and engagement
