Environment

To lead and manage cash sales team of Cash Management Department in Beijing branch to identify, explore, pitch and implement full range of cash and liquidity management products to develop cash management businesses in north and west regions of China. Monitoring client's feed backs on overall cash management products and services, provide cash management products/solutions marketing and promotion, provide consultancy to clients regarding cash management services. Proactively manage in the achievement of operational, business and financial targets of cash products.

Mission

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks:

Product Development :

  • Lead cash sales manager team to build up strong cash management franchise sales activities to cover MNC, LC, FI's portfolio in the north and west regions of China, including existing and potential pipelines, for cash management products including both deposits and short term loans.
  • Build up strong rapport with client's senior contact, provide consultancy and market intelligence to clients, both on domestic cash management solutions and international cash management solutions.
  • Be senior representative of Beijing PCM team to internal counterparts, including cash management teams across the world and in HQ, relationship managers and bankers, other product partners, internal supporting functions etc, in order to facilitate solution offering and implementation as well as internal cross-selling
  • Provide guidance to team members in order to cultivate strong sales culture, sales skill upgrade and sales process build-up.
  • Together with the team, be ultimately responsible for overall cash management relationships with portfolio clients, including new opportunities both onshore and offshore, pipeline management, global account plan, client service quality, implementation, etc.
  • Support Head of Cash Product to formulate long term marketing planning and strategy on SG China cash management development.
  • Regularly collect feedback from clients and business counterparts to continuously improve cash sales activities.
  • Regularly update new commercial product initiatives by collecting and reporting key competitors' offerings.
Financials:

  • Balance sheet target, including increase volume of various deposit products, short term loans.
  • Business income target, including margin, fee and commission incomes etc.
  • New client development targets
  • Achieve inbound and outbound sales target.
  • Monitor short term loan portfolio from a PCM standpoint and assist in maintenance of credit process and asset quality.
  • Product penetration rates for different types of payment, collection and delivery channel products.
People and Growth:

  • Ability to keep on learning and developing his/her professional competencies
  • Supervise, guide and train Cash Sales in the region
  • Provide product sharing to other business counterparts to ensure sufficient knowledge vested in other BLs for cross-selling


Profile




Candidate Profile:

Academic Background:

(degree & major) University graduate (Master graduate or higher preferred)

Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how:
  • At least 10 years' banking experience, including minimal 5 years in cash management sales role
  • Tangible experience in pitching SOE's cash management businesses, especially Chinese company's sizable overseas project is desired
  • Experience as credit analyst or relationship manager is strongly preferred
