The Team
The Data, Model, and Analytics team plays a critical role in enabling Enterprise Technology to deliver against its mission to bring innovation and domain-specific solutions across the enterprise for alignment on technology, strategy and standards.
The Role
The Software Engineer, Enterprise Business Intelligence, will play an active role on the team by collaboratively assessing business needs from Risk and Finance partners, designing & developing Web/API applications and assisting in their implementation. The role will ensure the quality of software built in accordance with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, regulatory expectations, and evolving business practices.
Some of the key accountabilities include:
  • Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications for Risk and Finance applications.
  • Design and develop new APIs for integration with Risk Intelligence website.
  • Manage and maintain the Web portal.
  • Assist in Web service administration.
  • Write efficient, reliable and robust code for full-stack development
  • Effectively facilitate SDLC across the specification, design, build, test, and deployment phases of development.
  • Receive feedback and work with stakeholders to continuously improve the applications.
  • Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

What You Will Bring to Succeed
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, PHP, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS, JQUERY, SQL development
  • 5+ years of experience with front end frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular. Experience with Kendo UI is asset.
  • Strong experience in Object Oriented design and development
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in AZURE stack
  • Experience in Non-Retail Credit Risk is asset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written/verbal)
