The Business Governance and Control team are the protectors of our businesses guided by the Three Lines of Defence Risk Framework: Risk Ownership, Risk Oversight, and Internal Audit. Job Description

Are you diligent in providing support on relevant regulatory, risk compliance and administrative quality control, assurance checks, testing, monitoring and surveillance? If yes, then apply for this role of Governance and Control Coordinator II where you will be expected to:
  • Perform routine to broad tasks, follow established procedures, and investigate simple problems to identify and implement suitable solutions
  • Run and review information against various lists / guidelines to ensure accuracy and flag potential deviations and unusual activity
  • Review transactions to ensure Bank and regulatory compliance
  • Prioritize and handle own workload based on management direction
  • Ensure accurate preparation of documentation that properly reflects business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules or regulations
  • Raise non-standard or high-risk activities as appropriate
  • Work autonomously within established procedures and responsible for activities involving multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions
  • Require skills and knowledge of a range of processes, procedures and systems where transactions are characterized by moderate risk
  • Gather and analyze data to identify and solve problems, report as appropriate
  • Participate as a member of the team, support a positive work environment and ensure timely communication
  • Support team by regularly improving knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer
  • Participate in personal performance management and development activities


Requirements


  • Quality Validation Analysts are responsible for performing quality validation on the output of all teams in dealer operations (Data Fax, Funding, OEM invoice, Program Support, PPSA, Dealer Services and Cash Management).

    The successful candidate\u2019s accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
    \u2022 Analyze key data (Day After Funding Report) to identify anomalies in Funded deals and report to related areas for corrective actions
    \u2022 Support Team Manager to develop and execute on validation procedures for all functions in Dealer Operations
    \u2022 Investigate root cause of issues and assist management team in identifying process gaps
    \u2022 Identify, recommend and facilitate development of process improvements when conducting quality validation
    \u2022 Provide report & cases for Deal Review, Scorecard and other management reporting forum
    \u2022 Establish and maintain strong business relationships with business partners such as Internal Control, Fraud, Finance and Product
    \u2022 Must be self-motivated and inquisitive
    \u2022 Perform a review of program/ rate changes on DTN, RouteOne and Fiserv
    \u2022 Review all invoices prior to submission to the manufacturers in a timely manner
    \u2022 Perform quality checks on PPSA tasks.
    \u2022 Must have strong excel and reporting skills


Additional Information

  • Intermediate to expert level of Excel skills preferred including developing macros

  • Ability to communicate in French would be an asset
