In order to meet its objectives, the College is seeking an innovative leader to become the Executive Director, Finance.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Vice-President, Finance and Administration, the Executive Director, Finance will provide dynamic and visionary leadership to the Finance team in alignment with the College’s Vision, Mission and Strategic Goals. Operating within a highly ethical environment, this position will effectively manage the safekeeping and integrity of the College’s financial assets and financial systems.

The Executive Director, Finance will oversee the annual budgeting process which includes establishing the annual financial targets, guidelines, and capital requirements for the College. This senior leader will direct the development of financial systems and business processes that provide timely, efficient access to financial information for decision making, planning, and reporting and will also ensure that effective financial systems are in alignment and compliance with all statutory, Ministry, and management reporting requirements.

As the successful candidate, you will be a highly collaborative, well-rounded and “hands-on” Senior Leader bringing a great deal of energy and enthusiasm to this integral position. As the successful candidate, your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships within the College and the Community at large will position you for success in this senior leadership role.

You will have a minimum of 11 years of progressive leadership and strategic planning experience, coupled with a four-year university degree with a CPA designation. A Master’s Degree would be preferred. Your proven experience of being highly effective in a large or public organization will align well with the College’s complex environment.
