As the Team Lead you will be responsible for managing your team of KYC Support Assistants and KYC Specialists. Responsibilities of this role will include ensuring that your KYC team is working effectively, high quality standards are maintained, cases are completed in a timely manner and any major issues and risks are identified, escalated and resolved appropriately.


• Organizes each process and distributes tasks between Mid-Office employees effectively;

• Lead and manages Mid-Office team of up to 20 part-time / full time staff;

• Executing, monitoring, and reporting on screening (KYC/AML) processes;

• Completing client dossiers in line with the set requirements and internal procedures;

• Managing KYC/AML-related front office processes;

• Receives guidance from Compliance regarding specific compliance-related issues;

• Writes down procedures and creates clear documentation of processes related to the execution of the AML policy;

• Prepares and implements new KYC/AML procedures, evaluates and identifies improvements and gaps in current KYC/AML processes;

• Designs, evaluates, guides, and reports on Mid-Office processes;

• Performs first-line compliance tasks, including but not limited to procedures of the execution of the AML policy, such as preparing enhanced due diligence, pep and sanctions screenings;


• Academic background (a degree in either Law, Economics or Finance is required);

• Excellent command of English;

• 3-5 years of working experience in a related position;

• ACAMS, CAMS certifications would be considered a plus;

• Knowledge of financial markets;

• Understanding of compliance within financial institutions;

• Enthusiastic team-player with a pragmatic committed approach and international outlook;

• Preferably experience with brokerage and/or retail-related compliance issues;

• Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, openly communicates his or her intentions;

• Is a strong personality, capable of standing firm and challenge the status quo;

• Ability to guide and develop a team;

• Demonstrable analytic reasoning skills;
