Your role & work environment

As a Trade Floor Support engineer, you will support and maintain the dealing room environment across the globe, ranging from end user workstations to backend servers. You will analyse and troubleshoot incidents, and work pro-actively to reduce recurrence.
Trade Floor Support is composed of Ops Engineers who deliver top quality support to one of the most critical departments in the bank: Financial Markets. Within the team, we embrace the agile way of working to improve efficiency and to ensure we provide the best service possible to our customers.

Your key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will consist of:
Incident Management

  • Pick up incidents
  • Analyse impact and work on resolution
  • Follow up until complete resolution
    Software Distribution
  • Organise & plan patch management
  • Organise software distributions
  • Follow departmental compliancy status of machine park, in alignment with CCERT
    Cross-border collaboration
  • Align with other team in other Dealing Room to provide the best support experience
    Hardware
  • Qualifying and benchmarking new systems
  • Maintaining contact with various vendors

As a Trade Floor Support Engineer you will also need:
  • An IT degree or similar through experience
  • Experience in a support function is preferred
  • MS Office and Windows troubleshooting, SCCM, networking, scripting, Appsense
  • Any MS certification is an added value, as well as development languages and ITIL certification
  • English is required, Dutch and French are very useful
  • Team Player, communication skills, stress resistant
