Vacancy for a summer internship

Are you ready to test your legal knowledge in practice? Then a summer internship is perfect for you! A summer internship with us at AKD is a great opportunity to get acquainted with working in the legal profession, and more specifically to experience the dynamics within a full-service Benelux law firm with more than 500 legal professionals and staff. What will you experience as a summer intern?

During your internship you will learn to write legal memos, interpret issues raised by our clients and lots more. You will also experience what it means to work together in multidisciplinary teams within AKD. You will have to deal with everything that is going on within your department and our Brussels office.

You will receive substantive and personal guidance from one or several experienced lawyers. At AKD, we work in close-knit teams and the door is always open for everyone. We laugh together, celebrate successes together and support one another. From day one, you will be part of AKD and we offer you the full experience. This also includes an extensive onboarding and monthly office drinks.

During your summer internship at AKD, you will work full-time in our daily practice for one month. You will receive a remuneration, in addition to meal vouchers.

Who qualifies for a summer internship at AKD?

Are you in the final phase of your bachelor's degree in Law or have you started a legal master's degree at a Belgian university, and do you want to investigate whether the Belgian legal profession has something in store for you? After a paper selection, there will be an online interview with our Campus Recruiter. After that, you will have a second on-campus interview with an experienced lawyer.
