Bank Degroof Petercam is an independent Belgian Bank with leading positions in Institutional Asset Management, Private Banking and Investment Banking.

Bank Degroof Petercam, as part of its Investment Bank in Brussels, has a Derivatives Department for structuring, sales and trading of all kind of derivatives. The traded derivatives can be listed, OTC or structured products (notes, certificates, funds, capital guaranteed…). The Department is split in two Desks :

  • Derivatives Desk, taking care of cross asset solutions, financial engineering, advisory, Solvency II solutions and Structured Products. The mission of the cross assets solution team is, within the financial market activity, deliver high added value advisory and solutions for balance sheet client issues.
  • Stock Option Plan (SOP) Desk, which is mainly taking care of trading, hedging, pricing and administration of Stock Option Plans for Belgian companies.    

To reinforce our Stock Option team, we are looking to hire a Specialist Sales Stock Option Plans.

Your position:
  • As a Specialist Sales Stock Option Plans, you will be in charge of:
  • Maintaining the relationship / being a person of contact for the current client base;
  • Further develop the commercialization of Stock Option Plans to companies based in Belgium (Strong focus on Brussels/Flanders);
  • Actively hunt for new clients and prospects;
  • Negotiating contracts: working closely with institutional clients (from small companies to large listed companies);
  • Provide ongoing training/information & support to clients and/or their employees;
  • Support the SOP Trading team;
  • Continuously assess market opportunities;
  • Built an in-depth knowledge of SOP products, including legal and regulatory items, as well as other incentive solutions and products
  Your profile:
  • Creative personality with good commercial and presentation skills;
  • Good and natural ability to network and to communicate;
  • Keep aware of regulatory developments in relation with the activity;
  • Experience and negotiation capabilities (OTC contracts) with professional counterparts is a strong asset;
  • Result driven and perform well under pressure;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a wider team;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, a good knowledge of French is a plus;
  • Understanding of derivatives is an asset;
  • IT skills is a plus.
