The Senior System Architect is responsible for designing and building components of applications and to provide consultative guidance on all project assignments. Sometimes you will be asked to lead aspects of design, development and mentoring of resources. You will work as part of a project team to ensure that the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer requirements. With your strong personality, you're in a position to extract the maximum results for clients and for Cognizant, even in a challenging high pressured environment. The LSA role is responsible for providing guidance to the technical team in terms of Architecture Design, establishing coding standards etc. Responsibilities
- Responsible for application architecture and design
- Provide technical leadership to the onshore team
- Develop individual team member plans and monitor the quality and correctness of outputs
- Conduct reviews and track issues to closure
- Ensure compliance to standards and processes
- Co-ordinate with offshore team on regular basis on work distribution, discuss technical challenges etc.
- Co-ordinate with Ameriprise technical team members on external system dependencies, environment related issues etc.
