We are looking for a creative and motivated Product Manager - International Payments to be part of and Develop the growing portfolio of GPI transaction management services.
To further strengthen the team responsible for the development of these services, we are looking for a seasoned cross-border payments product manager, who will be responsible to:
Assess evolving market situation, identify new business opportunities, key drivers and fundamental pain points. Qualify and quantify market demand, build strategic concept proposal and business case
Animate workshops with senior payments product managers from banks around the word, seek consensus around common business practices, coordinate technical specifications, write service rule-book and business requirements
Assess, together with our clients product teams, impact on supporting our product lines
Maintain and enhance service rule-book following feedback and evolving requirements from internal and external stakeholders
Develop marketing collateral and provide timely information to internal and external stakeholders on rule-book changes, act as global centre of expertise
Support market introduction, go-live and commercialisation phase of new payments transaction services
A rigorous and precise approach is a must.
Ability to influence and drive decisions with substantive data and analysis and a firm understanding of the business needs and requirements.
Highly engaged with a sense of urgency and ability to drive results independently and as part of a team.
Exhibits a high degree of self-awareness and ability to work creatively and in concert with other business and technology partners.
Ability to produce key elements of business cases and business requirements.
Keen ability to produce visual diagrams to help instill a firm understanding of how the technology and processes work together to deliver business needs.
Project management skills
Advanced knowledge of international payments is a must.
Advanced knowledge of corporate's cash management, bank treasury management and foreign exchange payments is a plus.
Master's degree in Business, Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
PMP and project management skills highly desired.
Ten+ (10+) years of Cash Management and/or International Payments product management experience or similar and demonstrable knowledge of payment processing systems.
Experience with core bank payments applications such as ACI/Finastra required.
Project management skills are necessary with demonstrable experience in leading change management initiatives surrounding banking/payment technology.
Understanding of a project control framework is necessary and its importance in maintaining the appropriate control in managing change.
