Technical Product Manager - Merchant Acquiring
Use your merchant acquiring expertise to make Australian Businesses stronger, both now and in the future

How will I help?

The purpose of the Business Bank at Westpac is to support one of Australia's most important assets - its businesses. We're here to make Australian businesses stronger.

You will be a key member of the Business Bank Product Delivery team and your focus will be to increase the performance of our products in the market via a superior customer and banker experience.

You will work in partnership with your team to define "how" we deliver BB products through product delivery processes.

You will continually assess the quality of service and support to our customers, ensuring that service is of the highest quality, and developing measures and processes to assess service levels and identify improvements.

You will play a key part in supporting distribution teams through simplifying products, technical product knowledge, product processes, communication and training thereby embedding product knowledge and facilitating more informed customer interactions.

You will also be responsible for ensuring any compliance to contract arrangements which are an integral part of the product delivery construct (e.g. payment product schemes, WIB support), including leading and implementing change where required to maintain compliance.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role you will need to be a true expert in your field and be able to demonstrate at least three years of experience within merchant acquiring businesses and/or payments industry.

In addition to having formal qualifications within business and/or IT you will also have sound knowledge in cryptography, security, networks, transaction switching, scheme, regulatory and industry compliance.
