Are you passionate about SaaS and building innovate solutions on the cloud? We're looking for a technical advisor to support our SaaS partners in Australia.

The AWS SaaS Factory program is centered around understanding the needs of SaaS providers. We believe in equipping them with the technical and business guidance they need to be successful. This is a new role in Australia, acting as customer advisor for our SaaS partners. You'll be a key part in accelerating SaaS factory adoption within the region. You'll have a range of deliverables, including the building of POC solutions, blogging, conducting workshops, and lots of whiteboard deep dives. Engagements will vary based on the needs of the partners. This includes optimization of existing solutions, building new SaaS products, or migration to a multi-tenant model. Using your interpersonal skills, you'll also foster and nurture deep relationships with our partners.
This role involves being a hands on builder. Using your architecture and design skills, you'll help SaaS partner overcome technical hurdles. Additionally, you'll engage directly with C level executives and as well as senior technologists.
You'll have a one to many impact within the wider SaaS community. You'll be an evangelist for SaaS Factory, sharing your knowledge across external and internal teams. This includes writing white papers, delivering technical webinars and speaking at events. Influencing roadmaps and driving innovation is a key part of this position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Experience in a similar role as Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, Technical Consultant, Senior Developer, Software Engineer, Development Manager, Software Architect, Engineering Lead etc.
• Hands-on experience building complex solutions, ideally SaaS in the cloud
• Customer-facing experience, preferably in the enterprise space. This can include internal customers such as business leads.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience building and designing solutions that run in virtualized environments
• Knowledge of micro services
• Experience in a Consulting / Presales role
