We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Commercial Banking team as a Senior Sales Manager driving exponential growth as part of a targeted strategy. Reporting to the Country Head of Sales, for GLCM in Australia, you will maintain and enhance existing revenue streams as well as develop new revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative GLCM solutions to a defined portfolio of clients.
As the Senior Sales Manager working with NSW Large Corporates, you will be responsible for building cutting edge solutions working with some of Australia's top companies. At the frontier of banking technology and backed by a successful global institutional history, the opportunities to learn and contribute are boundless.
Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a portfolio, originating leads, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients in order to identify and sell innovative cash and clearing management solutions to clients.
  • Contributing to pricing, reviewing and negotiation of the full range of cash management services for Large Corporate (Institutional) Sector clients.
  • Generation of new sales revenue and the retention and growth of existing clients and income.
  • Ensuring that all actions comply with local regulations, HSBC group policies and internal procedures.
  • Maintaining close relationships with key stakeholders so as to provide input into the strategic direction of the business and the functionality and launch of new products and services.
  • Staying abreast of market opportunities and challenges to provide the business with knowledge and strategies to be proactive.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional cash management, clearing services, working capital products and techniques.
  • A client-centric service approach to Relationship Management with proven sales experience and the ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
  • Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the local regulatory environment
Candidates for this role will need to demonstrate they hold Australian or New Zealand PR/Citizenship or working rights given current international travel restrictions
