Min 3+ years cloud solutions sales and business development experience | Exposure in cloud middle office solutions (PaaS/ SaaS) | Strong network within Insurance/ Brokers (preferred) and Banking market | Cover Australia & New Zealand region

Our client is a global leading provider of digital insurance technology solutions, we are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Sydney to hunt and generate new business for company cloud-based solutions in the financial services industry (like insurance, brokers/agencies, banks), manage some key Tier accounts directly and via partners in Australia & New Zealand market. The incumbent must be able to achieve revenue targets, prospect, manage full sales cycle, build relationships, and close sales.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, cold call, premise visits, and networking, representing eBaoTech and industry events
  • Generate new accounts and close sales opportunities using your superior presentation, management, and negotiation skills
  • Develop new client relationships and leverage existing and past client relationships to build and manage a sustained pipeline of opportunities
  • Develop proposals, respond to RFP's and conduct face-to-face sales presentations for prospective customers
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet quarterly/annual quota requirements
  • Maintain revenue and build new revenue within established account base
  • Navigate through complex negotiations at the executive level

 

Requirements for the role:

  • 5 years of strong sales & account management experience in Australia & New Zealand region
  • Min 3 years cloud middle office, PaaS and/or SaaS sales experience (mush have)
  • Strong relationship within Insurance and Insurers (big + small) market - preferred
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management and selling to multiple constituents in the same cycle ranging from Business, IT Executives and C-Level program owners
  • Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including SalesForce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness and desire to coach and mentor new team members
