About the Team and the Role:

The Financial Crimes and Fraud (FC&F) Technology team is part of the Group Operations Technology and is responsible for delivering projects and enhancements to the Financial Crimes, Sanctions and Fraud Platforms. The purpose of this role is to provide sound inputs and engineering solutions on SAS platform in order to drive excellence, quality and performance across multiple portfolios.

This role would be ideal for an experienced SAS Developer with extensive exposure to projects using SAS Macros, SAS EG, SAS Base and SAS DI Studio frameworks. Reporting into the Engineering Manager for Financial Crime platform team, you will interact with a range of internal teams and stakeholder groups including but not limited to Tech Leads, SAS Engineers, Project Managers, Solution Design teams, Squad Leads, and Change Owners.

What skills you will possess:

  • Strong experience with hands on coding and building enterprise level SAS applications using SAS Macros, SAS EG, SAS BASE and SAS DI Studio, within a banking or financial services environment is highly mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in SAS AML, UNIX programming, SQL Server, Web Logic, Oracle DB would be highly essential.
  • Previous expertise working across entire range of Financial Crime Platform applications and to perform end to end implementation on Teradata, Hadoop and ETL data platforms would be highly desirable.
  • Experience working with software vendors to work through problem solutions and case management would be highly desirable.
  • A passion to learn new skills along with a positive 'Can-do' attitude to collaborate with wider engineering teams and to build scalable solutions would be highly critical.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with vendors, internal and external business stakeholders and other technical leadership groups would be highly critical.
