Recognition plays an important role in reinforcing Commonwealth Bank's culture, values and strategic priorities. Through programs such as Everyday Recognition and the Excellence Awards, recognition celebrates achievement, amplifies behaviours that drive success and helps create a workplace where people feel valued, motivated and connected to our purpose.

The Recognition Excellence team is responsible for the design and delivery of the Group's recognition programs. Working closely with Business Units, senior leaders and key partners across the Bank, the team delivers recognition experiences that support employee engagement, cultural outcomes and business performance.

As a Senior Manager, Recognition, you will play a key role in the delivery and evolution of the Group's flagship recognition programs. You will be responsible for driving complex program outcomes across recognition strategy, program design, stakeholder engagement, communications, governance, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement, helping ensure recognition delivers meaningful cultural and business impact.

Do work that matters:
  • Lead the delivery, governance and continuous improvement of the Group's recognition programs and initiatives, managing risks, dependencies and competing priorities to achieve strong employee, cultural and business outcomes.
  • Drive complex strategic initiatives across recognition, including program design, technology enhancements and process improvements.
  • Use data, reporting and stakeholder insights to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends and make recommendations that inform future decisions.
  • Drive engagement, communication and change initiatives that increase participation, understanding and impact across the Group.
  • Manage supplier relationship and performance, ensuring delivery obligations are met and opportunities for continuous improvement are realised.
  • Oversee financial management, governance and risk requirements, ensuring programs operate effectively and in line with policy obligations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and ensuring alignment to business priorities.

We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale programs or initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups, significant governance requirements and competing delivery priorities.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing capability, with experience engaging executives and navigating complex organisational environments.
  • Exceptional program and project management skills, including planning, governance, dependency management, risk mitigation and implementation delivery.
  • Experience working with technology platforms, process design, business requirements, testing and implementation activities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience working with complex datasets
  • Ability to translate data and insights into clear recommendations and decision support for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and implementing change, communications and engagement strategies across large and diverse employee populations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including financial governance and supplier relationship management.
