How will I help?

The Senior Manager - Risk Transformations as part of the Customer Outcomes team is responsible for supporting risk management transformation initiatives such as new risk taxonomy and control assessment uplift across Consumer Division . You will define a sustainable risk management approach for Consumer Division that enables consistency, accuracy and adherence to Group standards. You will also monitor the progress of risk management transformation activities, ensuring activity completion within Consumer and provide status updates to the Central team. You will periodically perform targeted reviews, such as control calibration reviews and proactively work with other members of the team to identify industry trends and best practice in risk management.

This role will contribute to team development by providing regular feedback and coaching to more junior staff, as well as provide direction to other team members on controls and issue management. You will also lead and provide expertise and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders, including our Leadership Team to ensure we are supporting our customers to embed processes and practices that drive efficient operation and effective internal control environment.

What do I need?

You will have at least 7 years combined experience in a risk or compliance role, and risk management experience within the financial sector. You will have extensive experience in stakeholder management and will have strong knowledge of banking systems and processes.
