Senior Manager, Regulatory Relationships
How will I help?
As part of the Group Regulatory Relationships team, you'll provide expert advice on regulatory matters across the entire Westpac Group with a focus on dealing with the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA). You'll consult and negotiate with key people internally by promoting awareness of regulatory risks and regulatory issues. You'll play a key part in coordinating the day-to-day queries from APRA as well as internal businesses including information/data requests, notifications, data submissions and interpretations/clarifications and maintaining regulatory registers.

What do I need?
Experience, and energy. You'll likely have experience in managing relationships with regulators or regulatory issues either in a risk, compliance or business role or function. You'll have exposure to managing and building key relationships with Senior stakeholders. Along with relevant Bachelor or post-grad studies in finance or commerce, you'll have had hands-on experience across Regulatory, Risk or Governance as well as a strong appreciation of the obligations of financial services. In fact, previous experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector would give you a huge advantage.
