National Firm looking for a Senior Knowledge Lawyer with Real Property Knowledge to join their Sydney team.
Your new company
Our client is an established national law firm, that is leading the way in innovation resulting in massive growth in business over the past year across clients ranging from banking and non - banking lenders in residential property and commercial lending.

Your new role
You will work within their high performing Corporate Governance team and will focus on the on-boarding of new Lender clients and the implementation of change management projects for existing Lender clients while carrying out the following duties:
  • developing and implementing precedents;
  • drafting, reviewing and maintaining precedents and coordinating precedent reviews;
  • developing a strong knowledge of the firm's style guide and be a champion for style guide compliance;
  • working cross functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for the firm's matter management system and other automation platforms;
  • working with the IT team to develop and test practical solutions to streamline processes, fostering style consistency and reducing risk;
  • collating and keeping knowledge repositories up to date;
  • maintaining awareness of legislative and case law changes and providing regular updates to the Service Delivery teams.
  • preparing and delivering legal educational training across the firm.
What you'll need to succeed

the ideal candidate for this role will come with the following experience:
  • admitted to practice as a Lawyer in Australia
  • ideally minimum 10 years PAE
  • in-depth knowledge, experience and expertise in Real Property Law (preferably with mid-tier law firm experience, or above) and in particular, in the following arrears: Conveyancing - Property acquisitions and disposals; Leasing - Complex leasing transactions;
  • a specific interest in knowledge sharing and precedent development;
  • excellent document drafting skills and attention to detail;
  • ability to prioritise and follow up tasks autonomously;
  • strong interpersonal skills;
  • a keen interest in providing training; and
  • ability to work cross functionally.
