The Senior C# Engineer will regularly communicate with the wider development team and Traders on a daily basis. The team is responsible for building and extending our trading systems, using full stack exposure, from exchange connectivity implementation to building trading GUI’s.


The structure and size of the team makes us agile, nimble and dynamic allowing quick implementation of builds. This is a constantly evolving role with great opportunities to learn and grow.

On a day to day basis you will be:

Responsible for testing each development and feature, keeping bugs minimum

Be able to test all aspects of our trading systems, as a whole or partially, in a simulated environment

Produce practical design with requirements and business value in mind

Be able to maintain clean and quality code base, well commented and documented, that is understandable to your fellow developers

Assume ownership of developed features and changes

Be able follow up with releases, necessary production configuration and ensure the changes are used and adopted in production

Anticipate the impact of changes upon operations, existing processes and potential trading impacts on the desk and other desks

You will track tasks in JIRA, make sure each ticket is supplied with information captured, assumptions and necessary decisions made during implementation

You will keep system performance in mind when implementing changes

Be able to design code to handle technical exceptions with business intentions in mind. Where possible, deal with technical exceptional situations without business impact in a safe manner

What We are Looking For

A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline

Advanced C# technical skills and related modules for back testing

Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Logical and critical thinking skills

Familiarity working in a multi-threaded environment

Experience with real-time systems

Experience with object orientated design

Ability to work autonomously
