This is an opportunity for a Senior Analyst / Senior Associate and an Analyst, ECM to join the ranks of one of Australia’s leading independent financial advisory firms. The firm has an extensive track record in financial services and boasts offices here in Australia & abroad and has well over $30 billion funds under advice. They are now in a position to grow their corporate advisory offering and are hiring a Senior Analyst / Senior Associate to join their M&A team and an Analyst to join on the ECM side.
The Senior Analyst / Senior Associate will be working directly for the Head of M&A and will assist in the origination and manage the execution of transactions; including providing detailed financial analysis & modelling, structuring and other transaction management processes as well as building relationships with external advisers and internal stakeholders as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will likely have gained ~2-5 years’ of corporate advisory experience either from an investment bank, independent advisory firm or the corporate finance team of a top tier Chartered Accounting practice. They will have proven exposure to end-to-end deal processes and be eager to work in a hands-on, deal driven environment in a very experienced team.
The Analyst, ECM will support the origination, structuring and execution of equity transactions on behalf of the firm’s clients. This individual will be involved in all ECM workstreams including the preparation of presentation materials, provide analysis of industry and equity market conditions and provide support across a full range of ECM transactions.
Candidates for the Analyst, ECM role candidates will have gained ~2-4 years’ experience in a relevant professional services environment such as a chartered accounting practice, law firm, corporate adviser or sell-side equities, ideally with some exposure to equity markets and/or IPO transactions. To succeed in the role, they will display well-developed quantitative and technical skills and be able to blend this effectively with strong communication and project management skills.
To succeed in either role, you will also need to be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders both on and offshore.
