Senior Analyst / Manager, Compliance Governance & Operations
Our Enterprise Compliance team within our Risk Management Group is growing and is looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Compliance Governance and Operations team based here in our global Sydney head office.

The Governance and Operations team within Enterprise Compliance is tasked with supporting and co-ordinating the Compliance Strategy, communications and people engagement. The team will co-ordinate and drive Compliance-wide reporting including the development of metrics and dashboards as well as managing Compliance governance committees

The team also manage the Compliance Frameworks, global policies and act as an effective interface for projects and initiatives which impact the Compliance function. The team will also be responsible for driving Continuous Improvement.

As a Senior Analyst in the team, the role will assist in managing Compliance reporting, including board and senior management reporting (driving consistency in approach across the regions and enhancements to the underlying data). You'll assist in producing Compliance metrics and dashboards designed to ensure operational efficiency and to produce reporting to senior management (including conduct and employee dashboards)

In addition to this, you will aid in managing delivery against the programme of work as well as co-ordinating feedback and input into global Risk Management Group's initiatives (e.g. taxonomy updates, RMS, RAS etc).

To succeed in this role, you will bring with you a strong understanding of the Risk Management Groups Compliance function, compliance risks and Macquarie's risk management framework.

You'll need to be comfortable in building strong and effective stakeholder relationships as well as display excellent communication skills and possess the ability to work collaboratively as well as an individual.

An inquisitive mind coupled with a willingness to perpetually question and study key challenges, risks and trends will position you well for the role as will the tendency to exercise due skill, care and diligence consistently in everything you do.
