APRA has an opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our Data Management team. The Senior Analyst will be involved in all aspects of the collection and processing of information in accordance with the reporting framework of the relevant industries, and assist in developing and improving methodologies to ensure that data collected is robust and meets defined data quality levels.

APRA has an opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our Data Management team. The Senior Analyst will be involved in all aspects of the collection and processing of information in accordance with the reporting framework of the relevant industries, and assist in developing and improving methodologies to ensure that data collected is robust and meets defined data quality levels.

In this role you will:
  • Work with a wide range of users of APRA's data to ensure that the data meets the required standards of data quality
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of APRA's data collection process with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to APRA's data transformation program
  • Provide accurate advice on both technical and reporting queries and issues
  • Maintain contact with APRA's supervisory teams and financial institutions to ensure that contact details are kept up-to-date and financial institutions are assigned the relevant reporting forms based on the reporting requirement
  • Effectively manage your time, effectively prioritising day-to-day and ad-hoc tasks

In this role you will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders so excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You will have the ability to produce reports and analysis of a high standard and recommend appropriate decisions on issues affecting the reporting and quality of data provided by the reporting institutions, with attention to detail also key to success.
