Risk Surveillance – Chief Product Owner
Join a dynamic team responsible for Risk Surveillance technology within our Risk Management Group's Enterprise Support team.
As Chief Product Owner for the Risk Surveillance function, you will be responsible for the Risk Surveillance technology platforms necessary for the effective operation of the Risk Surveillance function.
In this role you will identify surveillance needs and develop a program vision and roadmap. You will continuously define, prioritise, and validate requirements, working closely with the delivery teams to bring the voice of the customer to the team, and the voice of solution to the customer.
You will understand the customer needs by continuously communicating with multiple stakeholders to validate the proposed solutions and provide transparency of the program. You will ensure that business stakeholders, business owners and program teams are fully informed of the vision, strategic roadmap and progress at all times.
You will be the broker between the different stakeholders in order to define a prioritised backlog, inform release planning including new features, architecture and allocation of technical debt and manage and prioritise the flow of work through the program. You will participate in the budgetary guidance meetings with the engagement team, architects and appropriate technical and business specialists, and you will work to develop business cases and shape solutions.
In this role you will maximise delivery of business value across multiple Agile teams, and have an ability to coach others on value prioritisation and benefits realisation. You will perform continuous near-term road-mapping and constant scope triage with backlog refinement and informal face to face communication with Agile Teams. You will lead adaptive planning to reflect new knowledge and change business value prioritisation accordingly.
To be successful in this role, you will bring prior experience in managing complex technology programs and change in the context of risk management within the Financial Services industry, and have with demonstrable experience in managing multiple stakeholders. The ability to formulate and drive strategic solutions while also being detail oriented is a key requirement for the role.
