Senior Compliance Manager Superannuation at a global bank

Your new role
Monitor and maintain the Trustee's Governance and Assurance Frameworks, including identifying opportunities to improve the Trustee's Risk Management and Compliance Framework
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide an update on changes to key stakeholders and the Trustee
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, information and papers to Trustee delegates, the Risk & Audit Committee and the Trustee Board.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance the policies of the fund to ensure compliance with licensing obligations
  • Provide support to the Trustee to ensure the Trustee meets all of its fiduciary and regulatory responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key service providers, advisors (e.g. Internal Audit, Member Administrator, the Custodian) and key regulators (APRA, ASIC)
  • Understand your obligations and ensure that the work of the role aligns to the Trustee's risk appetite and complies with Group and legislative obligations and the Trustee's Compliance and Risk Management Framework and Policies
What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, business, law or a relevant discipline is desirable
  • At least 5 years practical experience in risk management and/or compliance in a superannuation and/or funds management environment
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably in superannuation and/or funds management, including sound knowledge of regulatory requirements governing the operations of a superannuation fund (relevant legislation, prudential standards etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in providing concise and clear advice
