Project Manager, Large Employee Payment Review Program, 6+ month contract, Education sector, Sydney CBD + WFH Your new company
A large organisation within the Education sector is looking to hire a Project Manager to play an integral part in their Employee Payment Review program. This is a 6-month contract with a very high chance to extend. Your new role
Your role will be to provide project management and leadership of teams executing design, configuration/build, testing, cut over and implementation of the technology controls across time sheeting (Ascender), Workday and compliance reporting dashboard. You will provide status reporting to ensure progress is monitored, issues escalated and risks mitigated to the EPR Program. You will manage technology and timeline contentions with other projects within the HR program and ICT. You will coordinate all activities with ICT including governance approvals and at times support and represent the EPR Program manager on other EPR-related activities when requested. What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful candidate, you will have extensive experience in project management and project management methodologies in the design and implementation of HCM technology solutions in complex and unionised environments. You will have proven ability to lead teams and manage external vendors, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work. You should have sound understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, cost, risk, procurement, invoicing and integration. You will have a well-developed financial management proficiency and commercial acumen, managing external providers and attendant SOWs. You will have experience managing a diverse group of key internal/external stakeholders on large and complex projects.
Experience working in Payroll, either in an implementation, as a payroll SME/consultant or operational role is essential. Previous experience within in the higher education/tertiary sector and Human Capital Management Implementations will be highly regarded. What you'll get in return
