APRA is seeking an experienced analyst to join the Superannuation Strategic Insights team (Super SI) within the Cross-Industry Insights & Data division.
Super SI supports APRA's mandate through the provision of forward looking, data-driven insights that inform risk-based supervisory judgements and strategic decisions. The team plays a critical role in developing and delivering APRA's superannuation strategic initiatives.
As a Principal Analyst you will take the lead on the delivery of high-quality industry insights and advice to APRA's senior executive, superannuation supervisors, risk specialists and other government bodies.
You will work closely with senior specialists across APRA to develop and provide policy advice to help facilitate improved outcomes across the superannuation industry. This work will include the development of tools and processes to inform effective decision making, as well as identifying emerging risks and strategic solutions to address those risks.
The role will provide you with the opportunity to lead significant projects that will impact the entire superannuation industry such as implementing the recent Your Future, Your Super Budget measures. You will also engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the superannuation industry.
The successful candidate will have thorough understanding of the superannuation industry combined with a background in analytical areas such as finance, economics, actuarial studies or mathematics. You will have excellent written and verbal communication, with demonstrated experience in strategic planning, policy development and report writing.
