Excellent opportunity for an experienced Desktop Support, Systems Administrator or other technical position to take a step into a cloud-centric Office 365 role within the Collaboration and Productivity team in Sydney.

Be part of a growing, dynamic team focused on supporting the business transition to, and adoption of Office 365, Workplace by Facebook and other Emerging Technologies.

The role will start out with administration and support duties of the services focusing on learning the environment but will include plenty of opportunity to build engineering capability through working with more experienced engineers and gaining hands-on experience.

As the Office 365 and Workplace by Facebook Engineer, you will be accountable for
  • providing technical support in a global enterprise environment for Office 365, Workplace by Facebook and related end-to-end services
  • responding to incidents in a timely manner and escalating when necessary, while acting as a point of escalation from Level 1 & 2
  • maintaining and contributing to knowledge articles
  • contributing to the technical governance of service management processes including incident, problem, change, configuration, capacity, DR, asset, monitoring and alerting
  • liaising with stakeholders and clients to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction
  • collaborating with vendors and 3rd party service providers.

We anticipate that to excel in this role you ideally have:
  • a relevant qualification and/or Microsoft certifications
  • 2+ years in a Desktop/Sys Admin/technical role
  • experience working in a large enterprise environment (10,000 + seats)
  • powerShell scripting capabilities
  • experience with Office 365 or other cloud-based services will be a plus
  • a passion for technology and cloud.
