The opportunity

As the BMC Oceania Operations Manager you will report into the Oceania BMC leader, however, you will work directly for different members of the Oceania BMC Leadership Team across a range of operational responsibilities and strategic projects. You will also be part of the global BMC Operations network, focusing on cost-containment and efficiency, identifying opportunities for consistent best practices, implementing business transformation and connecting global, Regional, Service Line and Sector teams to maximize BMC's impact.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for working together with Oceania BMC leaders, other BMC team members and a wide range of colleagues across Markets and the CBS functions (including Finance, Operations and Workplace and Talent) to drive operational excellence and support the BMC team to deliver exceptional client service.

You will advise the Oceania BMC Leadership team on organisational strategic topics and help translate strategic vision into action and strengthen process understanding and discipline across the function. You will provide exceptional client service to the Oceania BMC Leadership team and help them be in control of their financials, continuous focus on process improvement, ROI measures, cost effectiveness / efficiency by sharing best practices, resource management, team collaboration and communication, and take a leading role in cost reduction or transformation initiatives.

You will oversee projects for the BMC leadership on key programs and initiatives. You will assist the BMC leaders to innovate and increase impact. You will streamline and co-drive the strategic planning process for Oceania BMC allowing the achievement of key set milestones which includes leading the development of BMC budgets and manages expenses to achieve financial targets. You will serve as the key contact between Oceania BMC and other functional operational teams (e.g., Finance, BD Operations, Markets Operations, Talent, Analytics) at a Region, Area and Global level to ensure synergies achieved. You will drive consistency and standardization for Oceania BMC.
