We are working with a world class software company in the Fintech space, transforming a trillion-dollar industry in the process with a need to scale their software development team. Seeking an experience engineering lead to take ownership of the development process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development team in the development life cycle ensuring that delivery requirements are in place
  • Take ownership of the service domain within the platform, whilst interacting heavily with external stakeholders to clarify requirements and clarifications on areas in need of improvement.
  • Mentoring team members and help to uphold coding standards across the team
  • Drive to product, architecture and technology improvements
  • Debug and deconstruct complex solutions
  • Evaluate the performance and make evaluations accordingly both to the project and individual team members
  • Identify and clearly document code that requires clarification
  • Refactor existing code to improve efficiency, readability, performance and simplicity
  • Continuously write and encourage succinct, maintainable, secure and working code

Skill Set
  • 5+ years' experience in .NET C#, Angular.js development
  • Software development experience in financial services (Superannuation, Banking and Insurance)
  • Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
  • Delivery in API's with effective developer experience
  • Ability to understand complex code with minimum documentation
  • Thorough understanding in web applications, databases, networking, security
  • Experience managing operating systems, databases, and networking
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
