Senior HR/IR Business Partner for an industry leader based in Sydney- Newly created position due to growth
Your new company
National blue-collar organisation based in Sydney are looking to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner to their expanding team.

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for providing HR and IR support to the business including:
  • Developing and updating HR strategies, policies and procedures to improve practices across the organisation
  • Providing HR support to stakeholders across the business on HR, ER and IR matters
  • Coaching and advising leaders on complex cases, performance management and EBAs
  • EBA negotiation and maintaining relationships with Union Representatives
  • Representing the organisation at employment tribunals when required
  • Reporting and analysis on HR metrics
What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary qualification in a HR or related discipline
  • You should have a minimum of five years experience in HR ideally in senior roles
  • Have both a strategic and operational skillset and have experience working within a blue-collar environment
  • Strong ER/IR skills including a proven track record in maintaining union relationships and EBA negotiations
  • Ability to deal with complex ER/IR cases and representation at Fair Work
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and influence

This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start on offer for the right candidate. Salary range is $140-160k base + Super, dependent on experience. You will report directly to the Managing Director and have the ability to support and drive change across the business. You will form part of a National HR team who are supportive, collaborative and inclusive.
