The Office of General Counsel (OGC) team bring this to life by delivering practical legal advice and risk-based solutions to our firm on a range of general commercial law matters. Belonging to a supportive in-house team environment, you'll help the business navigate today's complex legal requirements with an innovative edge.
As a General Commercial Lawyer in our OGC team your impact will be seen by:
- Assisting with the review, legal analysis and preparations of advice for client engagements and transaction documents for the firm's acquisitions and divestments, alongside our due diligence teams and commercial stakeholders
- Collaborating with the Risk and Compliance teams in the review, legal analysis and preparation of advice across supplier agreements (e.g. NDAs, MSAs, Sponsorship agreements and technology licensing arrangements)
- Informing engagement leaders of legal risk and concepts on a diverse range of matters
- Developing flexible, creative and innovative solutions to complex business problems
You have a background in general corporate or commercial law ideally with 2-4 years PQE and are skilled in negotiating complex agreements and considering key issues to assess and articulate legal risks and hold strong technical skills and corporate law knowledge.
