Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Front Office, Officer who will be responsible for processing of Equity, Fixed Income, FX and Futures transactions for APAC markets and oversight of settlements for APAC and EMEA markets. Reporting directly to the Manager, this role monitors and ensures that all deals are processed, confirmed, reconciled and settled in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to all documented procedures and deadlines. The role requires the candidate to work an afternoon/evening shift and work closely with the US team to handover any outstanding issues and book the late APAC market trades.

What you will be responsible for
As a Front Office, Officer you will
  • Investigate any query received from Dealers and Counterparts with regard to deals booked incorrectly - organise reversal/replacement deals and take the appropriate action to suppress payment. If payment has been effected, refer to Investigations to arrange cancellation / amendment. If necessary, confirm action to the appropriate section via Email.
  • Ensure all transactions originating from the Front Office have been correctly processed in Fidessa and Longview, and any discrepancies are corrected by working with both the Front Office and IMS team as soon as possible. This responsibility incorporates monitoring the complete transaction process from dealer input to the settlement of trade
  • Work with vendor to ensure that all trades are matched for settlement prior to country specific deadlines and any issues are passed on to the other regional teams at the end of shift
  • Oversee the reconciliation process of all security and cash accounts by our Off-shore teams, and work to get any discrepancies fixed prior to trade settlement

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated market knowledge and relevant market experience in broking products
  • A strong aptitude for information technology including MS office, Fidessa, MCH, CRIMS and external vendor systems
  • Experience in APAC and EMEA markets preferred

This role will work the afternoon shift, commencing at 1pm
