The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) combines Deutsche Bank's Corporate Finance, Global Markets and Global Transaction Banking businesses. This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation.

Position Overview

DB is looking for a Cross Currency swaps trader to join FIC Australian Local Markets (ALM) trading team in Australia – a market leader in liquidity provision of Australian and new Zealand Fixed income and Derivative Product. The role requires a strong academic pedigree and also experience in Australian interest rate markets. Any successful candidate would be expected to work within the existing trading team, adding to the existing fundamental and technical skills focusing on AUD product and act as an agent servicing both our local and global clients across the DB Global franchise.

  • Distribute AUD CCS Rates products, derivatives, to Central Banks, Fund
  • Managers, Banks and Asset Managers
  • Work with syndication teams on pricing & risk managing cross border new issuance.
  • Identify and develop primary market - new client business and cross border opportunities
  • Work closely with Sales to deliver flow product to Deutsche Bank's clients
  • Liaise with global peers and local colleagues in other products

You will have :
  • 4-6 years
  • Understanding of the primary market cross border issancuance market
  • An excellent understanding of Fixed Income products and economics
  • An excellent understanding of AUD CCS Interest rate derivative products, pricing and clearing.
  • Understanding of CSA pricing / and coporate CVA return metrics
  • An understanding of macro FX markets and the Institutional Client environment.
  • Excellent client facing and communication skills
  • The ability to be thorough and analytical
  • Experience of developing the wider franchise beyond a specific client base
