Morgan Stanley Institutional Equity Division (IED) is a global leader in executing transactions in cash equity and equity-related products for institutional clients around the world. These products include common stocks, global depository receipts and exchange-traded funds. About The Opportunity
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on the Sales Trading team, within the Institutional Equities Division. We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual, with strong and genuine interest in Equities. The individual should come with good analytical skills and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.
This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-moving and exciting environment, while interfacing with Morgan Stanley's Institutional clients. Responsibilities
A successful sales trader will develop strong relationships with client traders, deliver the Firm's content and execution services in a professional manner. Balancing the needs of clients with the interests of the Firm. In this role it is important to stay abreast of current events, MS Research and content, to deliver this service in an efficient way.
Overall, the position requires extensive interaction with Morgan Stanley clients, as well as internal Sales, Trading, Derivative, Program, and Capital Markets teams. As such, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Qualifications: Qualifications/ Skills Required
• Ideally the candidate will have relevant experience across products (Cash Equities, Prime Brokerage, Structured Products, Derivatives and Swaps), with focus on cash equities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to succinctly articulate complex concepts and content.
