We are partnering with the corporate credit analysis team within a market leading global ratings agency. We are recruiting for two roles, one at the Senior Analyst level and the other an Associate Director. One role is a replacement hire and the other is due to growth. The team splits coverage across sectors into three key teams, TMT, Energy and Other (which includes property, consumer, gaming and general industrials). At all levels you will have specifically allocated credits to be responsible for and as you become more senior you will have more complex credits as part of your portfolio. You will have secondary and backup coverage across an additional group of names. This means candidates have true ownership and responsibilities for a book of work, at the same time you will be part of a team who supports and discusses analysis collaboratively. The Sydney based team is part of a wider Australasian coverage team granting exposure to the high yield markets of South East Asia and India. The team works closely with their Asian counterparts and also has access to global sector specialists.
We are seeking candidates with a strong interest in financial markets, in particular appetite to work in a research capacity and interest in fixed income markets. Candidates may come from a wide range of backgrounds but will most likely have experience in either a credit or related research in finance or an analytical role in a relevant corporate. Candidates should be capable at financial modelling. We are seeking candidates from 2 up to 8 years’ experience post university for both roles.
