These roles will allow you to work closely and effectively with the senior executive team on the development of growth strategies and to identify and analyse potential acquisition or divestment targets for the group, as well as broader corporate finance & strategic initiatives such as joint ventures and capital management. Working as part of a small, highly capable and credible team, you will assist in leading deal execution, commercial negotiation and the preparation and presentation of Board papers and approvals.
Successful applicants for the Manager will likely have 5-8 years transactional M&A experience gained from either an investment bank, a leading independent corporate advisory firm or one of the relevant transaction teams from the Big 4 CA firms. You will have a proven ability to lead and execute M&A transactions and will be comfortable building and maintaining relationships with all levels of a business and the external adviser network. You will enjoy working in a deal environment but will be looking to do this on behalf of a business where you will see the ongoing commercial impact of M&A activity, and in a role that will provide a greater degree of work life balance.
For the Associate role, successful applicants will bring 2-4 years transactional M&A experience ideally from an investment bank or other reputable corporate advisory platform. You will be able to confidently demonstrate the requisite financial modelling & technical skills necessary to succeed in this role as well as show a commercial nous that you are keen to use to assist the business in its growth and strategic initiatives. As with the Manager role, you will be excited by an opportunity to genuinely impact an iconic business and shape the future direction of what is a critical and fast-growing industry.
