This role will see you join part of a large and well-established team, responsible for providing Compliance advice, training and the coordination of reporting tasks for Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets business with some additional responsibilities across the wider Macquarie Asset Management business.

Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) is the world's largest infrastructure asset manager with over AUD$178 billion of assets under management.

As a Compliance Senior Manager/Associate Director, you will be responsible for the day to day provision of compliance advice to the MIRA business in respect of regulatory matters, compliance and internal policy requirements. You will be responsible for the preparation of reports (board, committee and stakeholder reporting) and will be charged with the proactive identification and reporting of regulatory risks, breaches and incidents. You will build relationships with senior stakeholders and also develop and drive compliance training programmes across the MIRA business on a variety of key topics.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, Macquarie Asset Management ANZ, you will be a senior member of the wider Compliance team supporting the Macquarie Asset Management business. Macquarie Asset Management is a global asset manager with over AUD$500 billion of assets under management.

You will have a strong background in technical compliance, preferably with knowledge of asset or funds management compliance with experience working with regulators and industry bodies. You will be solutions focused with a strong level of commercial judgement and a genuine interest in working closely with the underlying business. You will be able to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities with a strong attention for detail and the ability to work independently.
