Change Manager - Project Delivery

6 month contract role across a regulatory program.

Your new company
A leading financial services organisation is looking for a Change Manager to support the change delivery needs of the second phase of a large regulatory remediation project. Reporting into the Change Director, you will focus on the successful delivery of change to clients, advisers and the organisation. This is a challenging and rewarding role working on a high priority program that touches a large number of stakeholders. You will work in a collaborative, flexible, and supportive environment.

Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Manage the assessment of the prevailing environment, scoping and defining the change to ensure outcomes & agreed work is aligned to the initiative
  • Work with the business to conduct simple assessments such as gap analysis and impact assessments
  • Support project workstream to promote change solutions that minimise human impact and deliver agreed capabilities/business benefits within the agreed scope, time and budget
  • Manage stakeholder identification and regular communication
  • Conduct Business Readiness Surveys to ensure stakeholders are willing and able to receive the change particularly within parts of the business that are more resistant to change
  • Identify, monitor, and report on issues that arise with change
  • Develop and maintain regular status reporting as it relates to the change program/initiative including budgets, progress, risk, and resourcing
  • Contribute to the Change Management community through attending events, providing feedback, and sharing experiences and knowledge as required

What you'll need to succeed

  • An analytical mindset with experience as a Change Manager in a financial institution
  • Education in Change Management discipline
  • Experience with financial crime will be highly regarded
  • Experience building effective stakeholder relationships
  • An excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills.
  • A hands on type of individual able to deal with multiple streams of simultaneous work
