Pengana Capital has a new position available for a Business Development Associate. The Business Development Associate will provide financial, operational and administrative support to the Regional Sale Managers. To be successful in this role you would need to have high level administrative skills, be client focused, be able to quickly build repour and engage with clients effectively. Having an understanding of the funds management industry is a necessity.

*Internal stakeholder liaison

  • Portfolio Manager Liaison - arrange and book regional meetings with PM's Marketing - liaise with marketing for up to date presentations, webinar dates etc
  • Clients Services, operations and marketing as required. 

*Salesforce

  • Ownership of Salesforce from a distribution team perspective, understand and be very efficient in the use of Salesforce (prior knowledge will be an advantage)
  • Production of reporting
  • Updating client details / dealer group listings etc
  • Regularly update adviser and dealer  information in  Salesforce

*State Sales Plans

  • Assisting with the development and monitoring of state sales plans

 *Account Management

  • Assist  regional sales managers to develop and monitor account plans for  their key  groups

 *Adviser Meetings

  • Planning and booking adviser  meetings for the regional sales managers
  • Following up from regional sales managers adviser meetings and phone calls re sending information and/or responding to queries

 *National and State Adviser Events

  • Assisting with organising and logistics for events in each state including PD days, conferences, Pengana events
  • Reviewing or developing invitee lists for adviser functions
  • National event support at event
  • Regional event support - arrange venue, presentations, invitations, client lists, confirmations etc

 *Sales analysis & reporting

  • Analysing and reporting on fund flows to identify sales opportunities or actions for the regional sales managers to follow up
  • Production of Morningstar reporting
  • Other internal reporting 

 *Adviser queries

  • Responding to adviser queries and requests for information

 *Sales Leads

  • Qualifying and following up on adviser sales leads that come in via pardot or other sources
  • Managing amex monthly expense claims
  • Booking travel and accommodation for regional sales managers

*Brisbane office administration

  • Office stationary (Officeworks account) -liaison for Regus
