Associate Director, Global Corporate Services Category Manager
In this strategic and global leadership role within our Business Services division, you will provide team leadership and work in partnership with key stakeholders across Macquarie to identify and execute sourcing initiatives aligned to Macquarie's strategic objectives, helping drive value and innovation through building, maintaining and enhancing vendor relationships within the scope of the Corporate Services category.
You'll use your strong relationship and interpersonal skills to lead, manage and support high quality sourcing and vendor selection activities across the Property, Print, Office Services and Marketing portfolios. You'll be tasked with supporting the development of the project pipeline, working with key stakeholders to ensure this is aligned to the business strategy and supporting team members with execution and delivery tasks.
You will develop key relationships with Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Technology and Marketing stakeholders across Macquarie Group generally to gain an understanding of the business requirements and translate business needs into global category plans, supplier relationship and delivery models which supports Macquarie's strategic direction. You will also ensure compliance, manage contracts and mitigate risks post-execution in addition to facilitating the governance processes and business reviews to strengthen the relationship with our key partners.
We would expect you to be a senior leader who is a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, a customer focus and the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and partners to drive business outcomes. You will have 10+ years' experience in a procurement organisation performing sourcing initiatives, vendor and contract management, supplier relationship and performance management, as well as negotiating complex contracts and delivery models.
You'll need to demonstrate a strong understanding of supplier relationship management, including supplier continuous improvement processes, tools and techniques with current knowledge of best practices, supplier relationships and the supply market within the Corporate Real Estate services category.
